The Xpeng G9 is the brand’s large electric SUV and the model that introduced its 800V architecture. It measures 4,891 mm long on a 2,998 mm wheelbase and seats five, and it is built on the Edward platform that also underpins the Volkswagen ID. Unyx 08 produced through Xpeng’s partnership with the German group.
Europe gets three versions. The RWD Standard Range pairs a 78.2 kWh battery with a 258 kW (351 hp) rear motor for 502 km of WLTP range. The RWD Long Range keeps that motor and moves to a 92.2 kWh usable pack for 585 km. The AWD Performance adds a 165 kW front motor for a combined 423 kW (575 hp) and 695 Nm, covering 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds while rated at 540 km.
The batteries are LFP cells rated for 5C charging, which gives a peak DC figure of 525 kW and a quoted 12 minutes from 10 to 80 percent. Real-world testing on Europe’s 350 kW public chargers lands nearer 14 minutes, since the hardware, not the car, is the limit. Air suspension with adaptive dampers is fitted across the range.
Driver assistance runs on Xpeng’s own Turing chips rather than lidar, with three 4D millimetre-wave radars and 11 cameras, and the 2026 update took computing capacity up to 2,250 TOPS alongside the AIOS 6.0 infotainment release. German prices are 59,600 euros for the Standard Range, 63,600 euros for the Long Range and 72,600 euros for the AWD Performance.
