Romania
iCAUR, Chery’s off-road-styled brand, has launched in Romania at the Bucharest Auto Show, which AutoMarket describes as its debut in Romania and in Europe. The first model is the V27 range-extender SUV, open for pre-order with sales planned for the first part of 2027. The local importer is Auto Italia.
Prices and versions in Romania
Two versions are offered. Both prices drop at launch, and the first 100 buyers get 50% off the Adventure and Heritage personalisation packs, which then cost €2,250 and €2,500.

The Premium reaches 100 km/h in 6 seconds, has 505 Nm of combined torque and offers eight driving modes. AutoMarket gives the V27 a total range of 870 km, a 224 mm ground clearance and a 600 mm wading depth.
The same battery on a different test cycle
The Romanian car carries a 34.31 kWh battery, the size of the earlier trims sold in China rather than the 51.2 kWh pack of the Long Range version. In China that pack is rated at 200 to 210 km of electric range on the CLTC cycle. In Romania the figure is 130 to 135 km on WLTC. CLTC is China’s test cycle and reads more generously, so the two numbers describe one battery, not two different cars.
UK launch in 2027
iCAUR has confirmed it will launch in the UK in 2027 with the V27, the Irish News reported on 15 October 2026. The brand has not yet confirmed UK powertrain details or prices.
