Nevo Q06 platform and positioning
The Changan Nevo Q06 is a mid-size crossover from Nevo, a Changan Automobile brand for electric and range-extender cars that sits alongside Deepal and Avatr. It went on sale in China on 23 September 2026 in five electric versions and one range-extender version, after a public unveiling in July. It measures 4,837 mm long, 1,970 mm wide and 1,670 mm tall on a 2,940 mm wheelbase, with a 782-litre boot and a 196-litre front trunk. The design was led by Klaus Zyciora, formerly of Volkswagen and now a Changan vice president. The car is assembled in Nanchang.
Nevo Q06 range and charging
The electric versions use lithium iron phosphate batteries of 66 or 80 kWh on an 800-volt silicon-carbide electrical system. A single rear motor of 225 kW (302 hp) gives 602 km of CLTC range (494 km WLTP) with the smaller pack; a 245 kW (329 hp) motor and the larger pack give 700 km CLTC (574 km WLTP). The dual-motor version makes 330 kW (443 hp), covers 670 km CLTC (549 km WLTP) and reaches 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Changan rates the battery for 6C charging, which takes it from 30% to 80% in about 9 minutes on a charger that can deliver it.
The range-extender version pairs a 28.4 kWh battery with two electric motors totalling 270 kW (362 hp), for 200 km of electric range on the CLTC cycle and 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. A 1.5-litre petrol engine works only as a generator.
Nevo Q06 price and trims
The electric range runs from 139,900 yuan (~$20,800) for the 602 Premium to 169,900 yuan (~$25,200) for both the 700 Ultimate and the 670 Dual-Motor Smart. The range-extender version costs 151,900 yuan (~$22,600). All prices are Chinese guide prices.
