The Bronco is Ford’s body-on-frame off-roader, sold in two body lengths that share a chassis, an engine range and a removable roof. Doors and roof panels come off on both, and on some trims so do the rear quarter windows.
Powertrain. A 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder is standard, making 300 hp and 440 Nm, with a 7-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic. The 2.7-litre twin-turbo V6 above it makes 330 hp and 562 Nm and is automatic only. The V6 is a paid option rather than a trim of its own: Ford offers it on the Outer Banks, Badlands and Heritage Edition, and fits it as standard to the Stroppe Edition. Only the Badlands among those comes as a two-door.
Off-road hardware. Four-wheel drive is standard across the range. Higher trims add the Sasquatch Package, which brings 35-inch tyres and locking differentials front and rear, and Ford’s Trail Control and one-pedal Trail Turn Assist systems.
Two-door
The shorter-wheelbase car, and the one that gives up rear doors and cargo space for a tighter breakover angle. Prices start at $40,795, and the Badlands is the only two-door that can be had with the V6.
Four-door
The longer wheelbase adds rear doors and cargo room without changing the removable roof and doors. It also carries the full engine lineup rather than a subset of it. Prices start at $40,795, the same as the two-door.
Badlands
The off-road trim of the regular range, offered in both bodies from $48,890. It keeps the 300 hp 2.3 as standard, with the 330 hp V6 as an option. Standard hardware includes Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, electronic locking front and rear differentials and 33-inch all-terrain tyres. The front stabilizer bar disconnect is an option on its own, or standard with the Sasquatch Package and its 35-inch tyres.
Filson edition
A four-door-only special edition developed with Filson, the Seattle outfitter. It takes the Bronco Raptor’s 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 (418 hp) with a 10-speed automatic, and fits the Sasquatch Package and Fox shocks as standard. Quilted leather with Filson fabric and brass accents, ventilated front seats and removable Filson bags set the cabin apart; a First Edition adds Iron Sands Copper Metallic paint and a serial-numbered console badge. Orders open in fall 2026, with deliveries from early 2027. Ford has not published a price.
