The Li Auto MEGA is the brand’s flagship, a seven-seat battery-electric MPV that sits above the L-series range-extender SUVs and the i-series electric SUVs. It measures 5,355 mm long on a 3,300 mm wheelbase. Li Auto revealed an updated version on 2 September 2026, and that car is what this page describes.
Two motors make a combined 413 kW, which Li Auto quotes as 562 PS and which converts to about 554 hp. That is up from 400 kW on the previous MEGA. A 108 kWh CATL battery is rated at up to 710 km on China’s CLTC cycle; CLTC is the most optimistic of the major test cycles, so the figure is not comparable with a WLTP or EPA rating for the same car.
What changed on the updated Li Auto MEGA
The sensor count is the clearest change: one lidar becomes four. Alongside it the MEGA gains rear-wheel steering with up to 7 degrees of angle, steer-by-wire, and an active anti-roll bar running on an 800 V supply. Rear-wheel steering matters more on a 5.3-metre van than on most cars, since it is what keeps a vehicle this long usable in a multi-storey car park.
The cabin is built around a 29-inch OLED display at the front and a 21-inch screen for the rear passengers. The second-row seats swivel to face rearward, turning the middle and third rows into a facing pair, and the third row is heated and ventilated rather than being the afterthought bench it usually is in this class.
Pricing is ¥509,800 (~$75,800), about $75,840, for the one Home trim on offer, and Chinese deliveries began in the week of the 2 September 2026 reveal. Li Auto has said a right-hand-drive MEGA will follow before the end of 2026 for Hong Kong, Macau and other right-hand-drive markets.
