The SkyNomad N90 is the first model Xiaomi has shown from a new sub-lineup that breaks from the driver-focused pitch of the SU7 and YU7. Where those cars lead with lap times, the N90 leads with cabin space: Xiaomi is positioning it around use cases like a mobile office, a family living room, or a camper, aimed at buyers cross-shopping Li Auto and Aito’s range-extended SUVs.
Powertrain: The N90 is an EREV, meaning its 1.5-litre turbocharged engine never drives the wheels - it runs purely as a generator once the battery is depleted. Chinese certification filings show two motors, 210 kW and 100 kW, for a combined 310 kW (416 hp) and all-wheel drive. The battery is a 76 kWh ternary-lithium (NMC) pack from CALB, good for roughly 370 km of electric-only range.
Size and seating: At 5,285mm long on a 3,080mm wheelbase, the N90 is a full-size three-row SUV, offered in five- and seven-seat configurations. A shorter sibling, the N70, is expected alongside it at 4,960mm on a 2,950mm wheelbase.
Cabin and features: The interior is built around a transforming layout - Xiaomi has shown seats that rotate to face each other - plus a roof-mounted lidar sensor and optional powered side steps. A Camper variant adds an extended living module for overnight use. Xiaomi has said different decor and equipment packages will target family and business buyers separately, though full trim details haven’t been released.
