NIO Inc delivered 109,178 vehicles in the third quarter of 2026, 25.4% more than a year earlier and within its own guidance of 108,000 to 111,000. January to September comes to 300,301 cars, up 49.2%, and deliveries since the company started selling now total 1,297,893. September alone was 37,408, up 7.7% on last year and 4.4% on August.
Deliveries by brand
The company sells under three brands, and they moved in different directions.

The NIO brand’s third quarter was 69.3% above last year’s. Two SUVs lead it: the ES8, which reached 150,000 cumulative deliveries on its first anniversary, and the flagship ES9, which passed 30,000 deliveries 119 days after launch. In August the two together made up 82.55% of NIO-brand sales.
ONVO is the brand that fell
ONVO’s September was 42.5% below last year’s and its second consecutive month of year-on-year decline; the third quarter, at 27,728, was 26.4% down. The brand’s L80, a five-seat SUV, opened orders in May.

Firefly sets a record
Firefly delivered 7,327 cars in September, 26.9% up on a year earlier and 25.2% up on August. It is the brand’s best month, ahead of the 7,084 delivered in December 2025. The Firefly, a four-metre hatchback priced from 119,800 yuan (~$17,800) in China, accounted for 18,950 cars in the quarter, 51.8% more than a year earlier.
September’s group growth of 7.7% was well below the 25.4% for the quarter as a whole.
