The fourth-generation Citroën C3 launched in 2024 as a compact hatchback built on Stellantis’s Smart Car platform, measuring 4,015 mm long on a 2,540 mm wheelbase. It is produced in Trnava, Slovakia and Kragujevac, Serbia, and sits alongside a separately specified electric ë-C3 that shares the same body.
The petrol range opens with a 99 hp 1.2-litre PureTech engine paired with a 6-speed manual, badged Turbo 100, reaching 100 km/h in 11.2 seconds. A 108 hp Hybrid 110 adds a small electric motor and 6-speed automatic gearbox, cutting the 0-100 km/h time to 9.8 seconds while allowing brief electric-only running around town.
Inside, the C3 uses Citroën’s simplified dashboard layout with a floating touchscreen and the brand’s signature Advanced Comfort seats, aimed at ride comfort over sportiness. The cabin also carries over Citroën’s suspension-with-hydraulic-bump-stops setup from larger models in the range, tuned for UK and European road surfaces.
UK pricing starts from £18,805 (~$25,800) for the Turbo 100 and £20,615 (~$28,200) for the Hybrid 110, positioning the C3 as one of the cheaper entries in the compact hatchback class, undercutting several mainstream rivals at launch.
