Stellantis shipped an estimated 1.3 million vehicles in the third quarter of 2026, down 1% on a year earlier. Enlarged Europe rose 10% and North America fell 12%. These are shipments, meaning vehicles delivered to dealers, distributors or directly to retail and fleet customers, not registrations, and Stellantis says the figures are unaudited and may be adjusted.
North America
Shipments fell by about 47,000 units. Stellantis puts it mainly on planned production downtime that hit certain Jeep models, including the Grand Cherokee and Compass, each down about 25,000 units year on year. The summer shutdown was planned. Ram offset part of it with about 17,000 more units, which Stellantis credits to new and refreshed products and wider powertrain choice, including the light-duty Ram 1500 HEMI V8 and the new Ram 1500 TRX.
Enlarged Europe
Shipments rose by about 54,000 units. The release splits the gain by source:
- Smart Car platform nameplates: about 26,000 units, covering the Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, the Opel and Vauxhall Frontera and the Fiat Grande Panda.
- Fiat 500 Hybrid and the new Jeep Compass: about 6,000 and 5,000 units.
- Light commercial vehicles: about 7,000 units, led by electric versions.
- Leapmotor: shipments up about 34,000 to 44,000 units, helped by the B10 and the B03X.
Against that, shipments of other models fell by about 28,000 units, among them the Opel Corsa and Mokka, Citroën C4, Alfa Romeo Junior and Peugeot 2008. Leapmotor’s figure is included because Stellantis consolidates Leapmotor International, the company that sells Leapmotor cars outside China and is owned 51% by Stellantis and 49% by Leapmotor.
Other regions
Middle East and Africa fell about 20,000 units, or 21%, mostly Türkiye (down about 21,000) on a weaker market and fewer imported vehicles ahead of local small-van production planned for October 2026. South America slipped by about 1,000: Brazil rose about 13,000 and Argentina fell about 11,000. Asia Pacific shipped 15,000 units, down about 6%, with lower Japan volumes partly offset by higher India volumes.
