The third-generation Dacia Duster went on sale in Europe from May 2024, measuring 4,343 mm long, 1,829 mm wide and 1,660 mm tall on a 2,657 mm wheelbase, with 472 litres of boot space. Its rugged styling carries Y-shaped LED lighting front and rear and cladding made partly from recycled plastic, continuing the Duster’s position as one of the cheapest SUVs sold in Europe.
The entry engine is a 1.0-litre TCe Bi-Fuel unit with 100 hp, running on either petrol or LPG from two separate 50-litre tanks for a combined range of up to 1,400 km. A 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol producing 140 hp is the only engine offered with Dacia’s 4x4 system alongside front-wheel drive, and the range tops out with the Hybrid 155, a 1.8-litre full-hybrid petrol shared with the Bigster that makes a combined 155 hp and 205 Nm and can move on electric power alone at low speed.
Inside, the Duster gets a digital instrument cluster, an 8- or 10-inch infotainment touchscreen depending on trim, and Dacia’s YouClip accessory-mounting system for phone holders and other add-ons without extra hardware.
UK pricing opens at £21,845 (~$29,900) for the Expression Mild Hybrid 140, while the Hybrid 155 full hybrid starts from £23,345 (~$32,000) in Expression trim.
