SAIC-Volkswagen’s second ID.Era model, following the ID.Era 9X crossover that launched in China in March 2026. Both are developed specifically for the Chinese market.
Powertrain: PHEV - 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (109 hp) paired with an electric motor (177 hp). EV-only range: 160 km CLTC. Battery capacity not disclosed.
Dimensions: 4,836 mm long, 1,880 mm wide, 1,505 mm tall, 2,766 mm wheelbase. Wheel options: 17”, 18”, or 19”.
Exterior: Same design language as the ID.Era 9X - smooth nose, split-level lighting, single rear light bar. Semi-hidden door handles (vs retractable on the 9X). Blue ambient lighting around the exterior indicates autopilot availability; no lidar (the 9X has one).
Interior: Single multimedia tablet (vs dual-screen setup on the 9X). Further details not disclosed.
China-only launch planned by end of 2026. Pricing and full specifications will follow closer to the on-sale date.
