The ID. UNYX 06 is an electric SUV built and sold only in China, updated in May 2026 and launched the same day as the ID. UNYX 07 sedan. Both come out of Volkswagen Anhui in Hefei.
Powertrain. The updated car has a single 170 kW (228 hp) rear motor and a quoted 528 km of CLTC range. Volkswagen has not published the battery capacity that produces it. The original 2025 car offered a 53.6 kWh pack for 426 km and a 77 kWh pack for 621 km, and how those map onto the revised range has not been set out.
What the update covers. Volkswagen describes the changes as interior design, connected features and range. It has not published a full trim table for the revised car.
Size and price. 4,663 mm long, 1,860 mm wide, 1,610 mm tall. Prices start at ¥149,900 (about $22,200), with a limited-time launch offer of ¥134,900 ($20,000).
