The Xpeng GX is the brand’s flagship SUV: a six-seat, full-size model built on the SEPA 3.0 platform with an 800V electrical system. Air suspension and four-wheel steering are standard, and the driver-assistance system runs on Xpeng’s in-house Turing AI chip. The car measures 5,265 mm long on a 3,115 mm wheelbase, with 700 mm of wading depth.
Battery-electric versions. The rear-wheel-drive GX produces 367 hp, draws on a 91.9 kWh battery and covers 665 km on the CLTC cycle. The all-wheel-drive version adds a front motor for 585 hp, pairs with a larger 110 kWh battery and rates at 750 km CLTC.
Extended-range version. Alongside the two BEVs, Xpeng offers an EREV variant: an all-wheel-drive layout producing 503 hp with a 63.3 kWh battery, good for 430 km of electric driving and 1,585 km combined once the on-board generator is counted.
On sale. The GX launched in China on 20 May 2026 with prices from ¥279,800 to ¥359,800 (about $41,300–$53,100). Demand sharply outpaced supply at launch - more than 80% of buyers chose the loaded Ultra trim over the entry Max, pushing waiting times out to several months while Xpeng restructures production.
