Volkswagen has opened European orders for the facelifted Caddy. The fourth-generation van keeps its MQB platform and petrol, diesel and 150 PS eHybrid engines; the work went into a redesigned cabin with physical steering-wheel buttons and a 12.9-inch screen. SAIC-Volkswagen has announced the ID.Era 8X, the third model in its China-only ID.Era family. It is a five-seat range-extender crossover positioned below the six-seat 9X, with a 1.5T generator and two motors for 503 hp, 51.1 or 65.2 kWh batteries, and around 340 to 400 km of electric range (WLTC). A full reveal comes later in 2026.
