The Xiaomi SU7 is the first car from the consumer-electronics company Xiaomi, launched in March 2024. It is a full-size fastback sedan measuring 4,997 mm long on a 3,000 mm wheelbase, and Xiaomi quotes a drag coefficient of 0.195. CEO Lei Jun has been closely associated with the product, and the SU7 became one of China’s most talked-about EV launches of the decade.
The lineup spans a wide performance range. The Standard uses a single 295 hp rear motor and a 74 kWh LFP battery for 700 km of CLTC range. The Pro keeps the 295 hp motor but adds a 94 kWh battery for 830 km, the longest range in the family. The Max moves to dual motors for 664 hp, a 101 kWh battery, and a 2.78-second 0 to 100 km/h time. At the top, the SU7 Ultra runs a tri-motor setup producing 1,527 hp, reaching 100 km/h in 1.98 seconds and a top speed above 350 km/h.
The cabin is built around a 16.1-inch 3K touchscreen driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor, with adaptive air suspension on higher trims. Storage includes a 105-litre frunk and a 571-litre trunk. Driver assistance is handled by Xiaomi’s own Pilot system.
Pricing opens at ¥215,900 (~$32,100) for the Standard and rises to ¥529,900 (~$78,700) for the Ultra, which arrived in February 2025. The SU7 remains a China-only model for now.
