Audi has revealed the Nuvolari, its R8 successor, named after racing driver Tazio Nuvolari and limited to 499 cars. It shares the Lamborghini Temerario platform but uses Audi's own body and tuning, with a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors for 1001 hp.
Toyota Gazoo Racing has revealed the GRMN Corolla, the sharpest GR Corolla yet. A 1.6-litre turbo three making 304 hp / 415 Nm, six-speed manual only, GR-FOUR AWD, a carbon aero kit and around 30 kg less weight. Orders open autumn 2026, deliveries in 2027, in a limited run.
BMW now offers the M2 with M xDrive, a first for the smallest M coupe. The S58 engine is updated for Euro 7 and makes 480 hp, the 0-100 km/h time drops to 3.7 seconds, and the front axle can be switched off for rear-drive drifts. From €81,300.
Fiat has revealed the Grizzly: a conventional SUV and the coupe-styled Grizzly Fastback, both on the Stellantis Smart Car platform shared with the Citroën C3 Aircross. Combustion, hybrid, and electric versions are planned, with sales starting in H2 2026.
Lotus has launched the Eletre X plug-in hybrid in Europe, sold in China as the Lotus For Me. A 2.0L turbo range-extender with two motors gives 350 km of electric range and up to 952 hp in H1000 form. From €96,990 in Germany, deliveries in Q4 2026.
SAIC will build a new MG factory in Galicia, north-west Spain - likely in the port of Ferrol. It is MG's first European production since the Longbridge plant closed in 2016. Capacity is 120,000 cars a year, but the modest €200m investment points to assembly rather than full localisation - a way around EU tariffs on Chinese EVs.
