Volkswagen has launched a Good-Night package that converts the electric ID. Buzz minivan into a light camper - a bed over the rear seats, a folding mattress, blackout blinds, a table and chairs. Geely has revealed the production Galaxy Cruiser 700, the first off-road SUV from its Galaxy sub-brand. The body-on-frame PHEV makes a combined 1,113 hp from a 2.0-litre turbo and three electric motors, with 350 km of CLTC electric range. China sales start by the end of 2026.
Li Auto has launched the second-generation L8 in China. It shares the flagship L9's 800V architecture and 571 hp EREV powertrain but is built strictly as a five-seater. A 72.7 kWh battery gives 430 km electric and 1,670 km combined on CLTC; 0-100 km/h takes 4.8 s. Prices run from ¥369,800 to ¥429,800.
Škoda has fully revealed the Peaq, its largest model and electric flagship. Built on VW's MEB platform, it offers three variants from 204 to 300 hp and up to 647 km WLTP. From €49,900 (~$54,000) in Germany.

BAIC has refreshed its entry-level electric hatchback barely nine months after it went on sale, renaming it the Arcfox Beta T1. The update brings a longer body, a redesigned rear, two battery options for 350 or 450 km of CLTC range, and a 550 km version to follow. Prices in China run from 62,800 to 79,800 yuan ($9,300 to $11,800).
Audi has unveiled the fifth-generation A6 allroad, the raised, all-road version of the new A6 Avant (C9). Adaptive air suspension is standard, raising ground clearance by 34 mm, and the launch line pairs a 367 hp e-hybrid plug-in with a 299 hp V6 TDI mild hybrid. German orders open on 18 June from 77,250 euros.
Geely has opened orders for a full-hybrid version of its fifth-generation Emgrand sedan. The i-HEV system runs without a plug, pairing a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor for a quoted 3.83 l/100km on the WLTC cycle. Prices in China run from 87,900 to 97,900 yuan ($13,000 to $14,500).
Stellantis has brought the off-road Trailhawk and luxury Overland trims back to the Grand Cherokee lineup, now with a petrol engine only and no hybrid option. Both use a 329 hp 2.0-litre Hurricane turbo four. The Trailhawk gets 290 mm of ground clearance and serious off-road hardware; the Overland keeps the same drivetrain in a plusher package. BYD has published the full specifications of the Dolphin G, the DM-i plug-in hybrid hatchback it announced for Europe in May. The range opens with a 175 hp version on a 7.4 kWh battery and tops out at 212 hp with 18 kWh and up to 105 km of electric range. Total range exceeds 1,000 km. Prices in Italy and Spain run from 25,000 to 30,800 euros.
Hyundai has revealed a new generation of the i20 hatchback, choosing Brazil as its launch market - a country where the car had not been sold before. It moves to the K3 platform shared with the Kona and Kia Seltos, adopts a rugged crossover look, and offers 1.0-litre petrol and turbo engines. Prices in Brazil run from 99,990 to 139,990 reais (about $18,000 to $25,200).
Xpeng has put its flagship X9 electric MPV on sale across seven European countries simultaneously, from Germany to Iceland. The seven-seat MPV uses an 800V platform with up to 615 km of WLTP range and 5C charging, with German prices from 77,600 euros (about $89,200).
Dodge has opened pre-orders for the new Charger in Europe, in two body styles and two powertrains. The all-electric Daytona offers 544 or 680 hp from a 100.5 kWh battery; the petrol Sixpack uses a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six with 426 or 558 hp. The range starts at 66,000 euros ($71,000), with first deliveries in September 2026.
Volkswagen has opened European orders for the facelifted Caddy. The fourth-generation van keeps its MQB platform and petrol, diesel and 150 PS eHybrid engines; the work went into a redesigned cabin with physical steering-wheel buttons and a 12.9-inch screen. German prices start at 31,511 euros ($33,900).
SAIC-Volkswagen has announced the ID.Era 8X, the third model in its China-only ID.Era family. It is a five-seat range-extender crossover positioned below the six-seat 9X, with a 1.5T generator and two motors for 503 hp, 51.1 or 65.2 kWh batteries, and around 340 to 400 km of electric range (WLTC). A full reveal comes later in 2026.
Geely's Galaxy sub-brand put the Starship 7 EV on sale in China on 11 June, a compact electric SUV with up to 605 km CLTC range, an 800V platform, and four variants from a guide price of 109,800 yuan ($16,200). A limited-time offer cuts entry to 99,800 yuan ($14,730) with subsidies.
smart's first sedan, the #6 EHD, is on sale in China. The plug-in-hybrid fastback is the brand's largest car yet, built on Geely's SEA platform with Mercedes-led design, a 435 hp powertrain, up to 285 km of electric range (CLTC), and a LiDAR unit as standard. Prices run from 179,900 to 229,900 yuan ($25,100 to $32,100).
Audi has unveiled the new Q7 on the MLB Evo platform, built in Bratislava. Europe gets a 3.0 V6 turbodiesel with 48V mild hybrid (245 or 299 hp) and quattro; the US gets a 435 hp 2.9 twin-turbo petrol, plus a 600 hp V8 SQ7. Five to seven seats, three displays. Pre-orders from June, from €87,900.
Ford has built a special Bronco with Seattle outfitter Filson, fitting the Bronco Raptor's 418 hp twin-turbo V6, the Sasquatch off-road package as standard, and Filson-trimmed leather. Orders open in fall 2026, deliveries in early 2027.
Peugeot has released the first official images of the production E-208 GTi, identical to its 2025 concept. On the eCMP platform with a 280 hp / 345 Nm front motor, 54 kWh battery, 350 km WLTP range and 0-100 km/h in 5.7 s. Ride height dropped 30 mm, front track widened 56 mm. Mitsubishi has shown the first official photos of the Eclipse Sportback, an electric crossover based on the third-generation Nissan Leaf and built solely for North America. It gets its own bumpers, front fascia and tail-light pattern; the powertrain is undisclosed. Sales start in late summer or early autumn 2026.
Lynk & Co has shown official photos of the 07 GT, a wagon based on its 07 PHEV sedan. Built on Geely's CMA Evo platform with the EM-P powertrain, it adds roof rails, a large spoiler, carbon trim and standard lidar. An AWD option is expected. Premiere set for Q3 2026.
The ultra-luxury Maextro brand has shown the first official images of the V800, its second model and first minivan. A plug-in hybrid with 530 hp, AWD, a 63.2 kWh battery and 275 km WLTC electric range, in a 2+2+3 layout with Huawei electronics. Premiere imminent; pricing not yet set.
Xpeng's flagship six-seat SUV booked 25,000 paid orders within 12 hours of going on sale, with more than 80% of buyers choosing the top Ultra trim. Waiting times have stretched to eight months and Xpeng is restructuring production. The GX spans BEV and EREV powertrains on an 800V platform.
Audi has revealed the Nuvolari, its R8 successor, named after racing driver Tazio Nuvolari and limited to 499 cars. It shares the Lamborghini Temerario platform but uses Audi's own body and tuning, with a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors for 1001 hp.
Toyota Gazoo Racing has revealed the GRMN Corolla, the sharpest GR Corolla yet. A 1.6-litre turbo three making 304 hp / 415 Nm, six-speed manual only, GR-FOUR AWD, a carbon aero kit and around 30 kg less weight. Orders open autumn 2026, deliveries in 2027, in a limited run.
BMW now offers the M2 with M xDrive, a first for the smallest M coupe. The S58 engine is updated for Euro 7 and makes 480 hp, the 0-100 km/h time drops to 3.7 seconds, and the front axle can be switched off for rear-drive drifts. From €81,300.
Fiat has revealed the Grizzly: a conventional SUV and the coupe-styled Grizzly Fastback, both on the Stellantis Smart Car platform shared with the Citroën C3 Aircross. Combustion, hybrid, and electric versions are planned, with sales starting in H2 2026.
Lotus has launched the Eletre X plug-in hybrid in Europe, sold in China as the Lotus For Me. A 2.0L turbo range-extender with two motors gives 350 km of electric range and up to 952 hp in H1000 form. From €96,990 in Germany, deliveries in Q4 2026.
Rolls-Royce has updated the Spectre, its first series-production EV. A new 112.5 kWh battery from the BMW i7 raises WLTP range 18% to 628 km, power climbs to 601 hp (680 hp in Black Badge form), and the cabin gets a bamboo-viscose fabric and new detailing.
GM has opened a design studio in Pasadena and shown its first result - the GMC Hummer X concept. Its modular Flex Fab body uses 3D-printed panels, and GMC presented it in both SUV and pickup forms.
BYD has started sales of the Song Ultra DM-i in China. The plug-in hybrid SUV is near-identical to the updated Sealion 06 DM-i - same powertrains, same prices - with up to 310 km of electric range and 1,845 km combined.
AITO has updated the M9, the Huawei-Seres flagship SUV. The car grows in two body lengths and gains a new range-topping Ultimate trim with three motors and 903 hp. EREV and pure-electric powertrains carry over.
The last BMW Z4 rolled off the line at Magna's plant in Graz, Austria. BMW has no Z-series roadster in its product plan. The Z lineage ran from 1991 to 2026.

Mazda has officially confirmed a second-generation CX-3 in its FY2025 financial documents. The current model has been in production since 2014 - longer than any other car in Mazda's current lineup.
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the updated GLE and GLE Coupé. The headline change is a new MBUX Superscreen spanning three 12.3-inch panels. Several four-cylinder engines have been dropped in favour of inline-sixes and hybrids.

Wuling has opened pre-orders for the Starlight L in China. The flagship of the Starlight family is a six-seat PHEV SUV, 4,980 mm long, with a 1.5-litre engine, 231 hp electric motor, and 260 km EV range on a 37.9 kWh battery. From 122,800¥ ($18,100).

NIO's ONVO brand opens orders for the L80, a five-seat electric SUV on the NT 3.0 platform. 85 kWh, 900V, up to 615 km CLTC. RWD 462 hp or AWD 598 hp. Retail from ¥245,800 (~$33,900).
Pre-orders are open for the Renault 4 Plein Sud, a canvas-roof variant of the R4 E-Tech Electric. Electric roof actuator, 92×80 cm opening, same 52 kWh / 409 km WLTP powertrain, 420-litre boot unchanged. From €37,290.
BYD's FangChengBao Tai 7 expands its lineup with new BEV versions, joining the existing PHEV range. Electric variants offer up to 700 hp (AWD), with the largest battery option of 105.7 kWh delivering up to 755 km CLTC. BEV pricing starts from ¥199,800 ($29,400).
The Land Cruiser FJ debuted in Thailand in October 2025 and went on sale there in March 2026. Japan now gets it in a single VX trim - 163 hp 2.7L naturally aspirated four-cylinder, six-speed automatic, part-time 4WD, 4,575 mm body on an IMV ladder frame. ¥4,500,100 in Japan.
